Food Log

For the month of March I am recording everything I eat. As part of that accountability and for those like me who like to "see" what people are eating I am sharing pictures of everything. Not just the "pretty" stuff I regularly share.  I am working towards three meals (between 300-600 calories each) and an evening snack/treat (200ish depending on where I am for the day).



Disclaimer: March 21-24 have been some sketchy eating days....I mean to say this is not all I ate...just what I photographed. A couple times I forgot and a couple times I hid from the truth :(  It is going to be tough with 5 days off work and lots going on, but I will try to do better to finish out the month.

March 24 -  1507 calories **

Breakfast - mixed cereal, milk, banana (forgot to take picture)  - 273 calories

Lunch - avocado, faux crab, clementine, naan bread - 540 calories 

Dinner - Eating Well Cassoulet - 514 calories

Treat - honey grahams, milk - 180 calories 

March 23 -  1985 calories

Breakfast - multigrain ciabatta, 2 eggs, clementine - 410 calories

Lunch - chicken thighs, potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, peppers - 365 calories

Dinner - medium fries, filet o fish, - 730 calories 
Treat - 3 chocolate chip cookies - 480 calories 

March 22 -  ?? calories

Breakfast - butternut squash, egg muffin, avocado, wrap, 2 cuties - 341 calories 

Lunch - chicken thighs, carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, pepper - 365 calories

Dinner - 1st plate...didn't track :( 
March 21 - ?? calories

Breakfast - 3 egg muffins, wrap, spinach, cutie - 273 calories

Lunch - Spinach salad with egg, bacon, almonds, roll - 565 calories

Dinner - so hungry when I got home I ate and didn't take pics :(  I actually it could have been worse leftover veggie pizza and some tortilla chips with cheese. 

March 20 -  1577 calories

Breakfast - 2 waffles, syrup, eggs w/ turkey sausage - 500 calories

Lunch - chicken feta spinach sausage, pit bread, apple, butternut - 344 calories

Dinner - Multi-grain ciabatta, 40 clove chicken (Cooking Light) - 543 calories

Treat - Cadbury mini eggs - 190 calories

March 19 -  1865 calories

Breakfast - 2 eggs, spinach, ham, black beans, cutie - 385 calories

Lunch - White Castle cheese fries, chicken salad - 610 calories


Dinner - homemade thin crust pizza - 420 calories

Treat - DQ salted caramel blizzard (shared) - 450 calories

March 18 -   2189 calories **

** lots of guesstimating on dinner and treat calories  - I did try to eat on low end of range for breakfast and lunch because I knew I would be estimating on dinner out

Lunch - apple, chicken salad, wheat thins - 430 calories

Dinner - bread/butter - 123 calories

Lunch - 2 pieces Dominos mushroom pizza, 2 golden oreos, 1 chips ahoy - 670 calories

Dinner - lettuce, tortilla chips, beef, black beans, cheddar, pico de gallo, sour cream - 575 calories 

March 16 -  1556 calories

Dinner - naan bread, bbq pork, gouda, mozzarella, onions, peppers, bbq sauce - 673 calories

Treat - 6 Cadbury mini eggs - 95 calories

March 15 -  1456 calories

Breakfast - chicken salad, wheat thins, banana - 450 calories

Lunch - Lean Cuisine meat lasagna, apple - 390 calories

Dinner - BBQ chicken thigh, butternut squash, asparagus, pepper, (not pictured mac n cheese) - 476 calories

Snack - rosemary balsamic chips - 140 calories

March 14 - 1341 calories

Breakfast - cereal, banana, milk, egg - 362 calories

Lunch - chicken salad, wrap, apple, cucumber - 388 calories

March 13 - 1341 calories

Not a gold star day, but at least I tracked it. I feel like I made lots of guesstimates on the calories for lunch and dinner. I figured the best I could and tracked it..that is a little win :)

Lunch - ham, saltines, cheese, potatoes, eggs, pickles, peach slice - 499 calories

Treat - chocolate ice-cream - few bites of niece's - 65 calories

Dinner - Korean grilled chicken thigh, mac n cheese, asparagus, zucchini - 459 calories

March 7 - 1273 calories

Breakfast - wrap, 3 egg muffins, spinach, banana - 308 calories

Lunch - Cajun Spiced Tilapia and rice - 448 calories

Dinner - 2 spinach feta chicken sausages, bread, sugar snap peas - 442 calories

Treat - strawberry pudding pop - 75 calories 
March 6 - 1296 calories

Brunch - biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns - 720 calories (guesstimate is low I think) 

Dinner - sweet potato, spinach & feta chicken sausage, spinach - 346 calories

Snack - corn flakes, raisins, pecans, honey, milk - 230 calories
March 5 - 1642 calories

Breakfast - 3 egg muffins, applesauce, 2 slices toast w/ butter - 391 calories
Lunch - Romaine, spinach, grilled chicken,avocado, peppers, provel cheese, ranch dressing - 375 calories
Dinner - 8 chicken nuggets, medium fries - 716 calories 
Treat - chocolate chip cookie - 160 calories
March 4 - 1539 calories 
Breakfast - oatmeal, strawberries, blueberries, milk, egg - 342 calories

Lunch - wrap, chicken breast, avocado, spinach, clementine - 469 calories

Dinner - sweet potato, peas, spinach, turkey sausage, Parmesan - 378 calories 

Treat - chips - 140 calories

March 3 - 1508 calories 

Breakfast - wrap, 3 egg muffins, spinach, grapes - 290 calories

Lunch - grilled chicken breast, mac n cheese, peas, peppers, pear - 532 calories

Dinner - NY strip steak, corn tortillas, asparagus, green beans, chili sauce - 416 calories

Treat - Honey Graham cereal, milk - 270 calories
Today seemed to be a day for using up leftovers. I didn't cook anything new. Lunch had components from 3 different meals and dinner components from two different meals. I didn't purposely make those leftovers (except the grilled chicken), but it was nice that it worked out that way and enjoyed each of my mish-mash meals :)

March 2 - 1408 calories

Breakfast - wrap, 3 egg muffins, spinach, cutie - 273 calories

Lunch - homemade chili, red grapes, crackers, ham, cheese, mini crunch - 530 calories

Dinner - Sheet Pan Chicken,and Potatoes, peas - 475 calories 

Treat - Caramel Dittos - 130 calories
March 1 - 1566 calories

Breakfast - oatmeal, blueberries, milk, hard-boiled egg - 317 calories

Lunch - Skillet Cajun Spiced Tilapia, white rice, pear - 529 calories

Dinner - hamburger, English muffin, broccoli - calories 415

Right after I finished burger the cheese was on the table. I ate it before really thinking - 80 calories.

Treat - Trefoils and milk - 235 calories
